Payday Loans still offer easy loan approval

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009

Everybody needs money to survive. Some people have all the money they need and then some, but others need a little extra cash just to get by day to day. With the sub-prime morgage crisis, banks are tightening all their loan requirements. The size of loans is not regulated by the government, that decision is made by the lenders after evaluating whether the borrower is able to repay interest and principal repayments. In the past a bank would grant a loan based on 30 percent of the applicants gross income. Now checks and balances are done to determine loan amount. The consumer has to disclose all of their credit obligations and give the bank permission to check account statements and credit bureau records. If you have existing large credit agreements, such as car loans, and credit cards, or even insurance policies, utility bills, or student loans you won’t qualify for much, even if you have a high income. Loans are not easy to come by now a days.

Payday loans however are different; these loans are secured loans, so there aren’t harsh restrictions in place that will prevent you from getting the cash you need, when you need it. You can get a payday loan cash advance in just 24 hours, and no credit check!

All that most payday loan lenders will require of you is this:

•    A Drivers License or state issued photo ID
•    Your Bank Statement and
•    Proof of Income

Payday loans are a great option if you have bad credit or just need cash fast. Contact your local payday loan lender to learn more.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Holiday budget

Thursday, November 13th, 2008

It’s already mid November, which means the biggest shopping day of the year is just around the corner. Now is the time to plan your holiday budget. Here a some tips to keep from over spending this holiday season.

Set a budget Plan ahead how much you want to spend and stick with it. Pick a total or individual amounts. Make a game out of staying under your budget, have fun with it, don’t let yourself get frustrated. Be creative and enjoy the challenge.

Buy in bulk Last year I bought everyone on my list gift trees from the Arbor Day Foundation. These trees were a cheap, unique gift that will last a lifetime. Buying everyone the same thing was not only cost effective, but it saved me time.

Give the gift of food If trees aren’t your style, try groceries. My grandmother buys foods she knows we like. Cookies, cereal. Food is a gift that will always get used. If you’re up to it, home baked good are a cheap, but still thoughtful, gift that everyone loves. The year before last I made everyone spiced pecans… so good! Chex mix, or chocolate spoons are easy and yummy too

The gift of you Here’s a novel idea, don’t give gifts. Sometimes just being with family is what really matters.

Don’t overspend on yourself It’s not just gifts we spend on during the holidays, keep spending on things like decorations in check. Take the time to make your own popcorn or paper garlands, this is a great way to spend time with family too. If you will be buying lights, opt for LEDs, they will save you a ton in money energy and replacement costs.

If you do go over budget, or don’t get the holiday bonus you were expecting, consider an auto title loan for the cash you need.

Pixel Payday

We got our slingbox working last night, unfortunately, the image quality is really poor. It’s really unacceptable. The upload speeds at my parents house are less than 500kbps, when 1500kbps is what we want. They are supposed to have speeds up to 1000kbps, but they are not even close, so even if they upgraded their interenet, it still wouldn’t guartee a better picture.

My roommate wants to go with AT&T Uverse, but it’s going to be +$70/month for what we want. That just seem like soo much money. I don’t know what to do.

At least today is payday, yay! Even if today isn’t your payday, you can get paid today too.

I can has mael on Sundayz?

The antenna is working great. Woo! I hope there will be some way to plug it into our future DVR, because I’d hate to have to pay Dish for channels I’m already getting for free. The digital/HD channels look sooo good, it’s hard to believe they are free. My roommate was joking that he is going to start watching football now just because it looks so amazing in high definition.

I also called Bank of America on Wednesday to ask about my credit card application and the guy I talked to said he’d get me approved. I didn’t get an email from them untill the next day, and all the email said was, “we’ve made a decision, go to this link to find out what we decided,” and the link still tells me they need more time… I guess I just have to wait 7-10 days to see if a card shows up in my mail box. I wonder what would have happened if I didn’t call.

In other news, phone taxes suck. My roommate and I pay $40 in taxes on our $10 phone line (that I didn’t even want), that’s more than I spend on gas every month. They really should be a little more upfront about what those costs are.

I has a epiphany

My credit card application still hasn’t been approved (or declined) yet. When they said “a few days” I was expecting to be contacted last Wednesday, but now it’s been over a week and I’m getting antsy. If they had just said a week or two to begin with I’d be ok, but they didn’t. How long does it take? What are they looking at? I want to just apply for something else that I know I’ll be approved for right away, but I don’t think having multiple credit applications will look very good. I don’t want to seem desperate… or crazy.

The good news is, a few days ago at work someone mentioned they plugged some rabbit ears into their HDTV in a room that didn’t have a cable connection and got free HD local channels over the air. It took me a day or so for it to really hit me, but the other night I remembered all of a sudden that my roommate’s HDTV most likely has a built in HD tuner. I guess I forgot because my little 19″ HDTV doesn’t have a built in HD tuner, but I looked it up and his TV does. I found this site that tells you what stations you get over the air and what kind of antenna you need. In order to get the channels I watch I needed a medium directional antenna with pre-amp, which Amazon had for only $24. The antenna should be arriving today, which means I won’t miss the premiers of House and Bones tomorrow and Wednesday. Woo! If this works out well I might not have to order local channels from Dish, which means I can save $5 a month.

You’ve Been Approved

Monday, July 28th, 2008

I hope everyone had a good weekend, I know I sure did. My roommate and I finally found an apartment we both like, after looking for 3 weeks. It was hard because he works different hours than I do, including weekends. He actually looked at the place we are going with first without me. Then I went without him and saw something he hadn’t seen, so he had to go back again to see what I saw, because I had really liked it. Luckily he liked it too. We applied on Sunday and I just got the call this morning that we were approved. The best news it our credit was good enough that we don’t have to provide any additional deposit. I was a little worried because I don’t think my roommate even has any credit (he has no credit cards or loans in his name, and no rental history) and I don’t have a very long work history. I guess his long work history combined with my credit history was good enough. I have student loans and a car loan in my name. I also have a good (although a bit short) rental history.

I’m really glad we don’t have to pay any addition deposit (which would have been an additional months rent) because I can just barely afford my half of everything we’ll have to pay for our move it. We have to pay for the deposit, the first month of rent, an administrative fee. It’s a good thing we don’t have any pets (yet) either, because that would have added another $200 up front, plus $20 extra per month, sheesh!

It’s crazy all the other things we need to get too. We need to get our power switched to our names, and renters insurance before we move in. We don’t have a couch. Some things that were luxuries only a few decades ago feel like things we need today. We’ve got to get TV service (I think we’re going with an HD only package from Dish Network), and internet. It can be pretty confusing trying to decide what the best deals are. I was chatting with customer service online last night. It was weird because I couldn’t tell if it was an actual human, or a robot. Either way, it was pretty helpful.

We get the keys on Friday! Check back next Monday to see how moving went. Which reminds me, we need to rent a truck.

It’s Friday!

Friday, July 25th, 2008

And Friday means new movies come out. I have a bit of a movie addiction. I see way too many movies in theaters, and now that I’m going to be paying my own bills I’m going to have to cut back. I got lucky last week when I got to see a free sneak preview of Step Brothers, you know, the movie with Will Ferrell and that other guy. It was hilarious, and the audience made it even better. If you plan on seeing it, I recommend seeing it when you know there will be a good audience. Movies are always more funny when everyone else it laughing with you. There were a few jokes that were almost subtle, if you weren’t paying attention you might not catch the joke. Those are my favorite kind of joke. This movie was completely memorable; I have a problem sometimes where I can’t remember what happens at the end of movies, but that was not the case with this movie… and not because it had a bad ending either.
